Privacy Policy for Quick Workout - Home Workout

Our privacy policy was last updated on November 6th, 2026.
See previous versions here.

1. Introduction.

This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information if You use our Application Quick Workout - Home Workout (shown on Your Device as “Quick Workout”) on Android or on iPhone. The Policy tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

We use Your data to provide and improve the Services. When installing, running, and using Quick Workout - Home Workout, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

In short:

  • You do not create an account, and We do not ask for Your name, e-mail address or phone number.
  • Your routines, workout history and settings are stored only on Your Device. Appvestor does not receive them.
  • The App sends technical data to Appvestor (usage statistics, including Your device’s advertising ID on Android) and to Google Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports), so that We can count installs and active users, measure Our marketing and fix errors. Neither contains Your workouts.
  • The App shows no advertisements, and We do not sell Your personal data. The App does not access Your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or health and fitness data from other apps or sensors.

Quick Workout - Home Workout is not directed at children under the age of 13, and We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

2. Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation
Unless otherwise stated in the context, the following terms have the following meanings, and they shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • “Company” (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to:
        Appvestor ApS
        DK37614904,
        Gladsaxevej 342, 2860 Soeborg
        Denmark
  • “Country” refers to Denmark.
  • “Device” means any device that can access the Service.
  • “Data” is any information that relates to a User of any of Our Services.
  • “Service” refers to the Application Quick Workout - Home Workout and its features.
  • “Service Provider” means a third party that processes limited technical data on Our behalf or whose technology the Service uses to deliver a feature to You (for example crash reporting), for that purpose only.
  • “Usage Data” refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
  • “You” means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Services, as applicable. You can be referred to as the Data Subject or as the User as You are the individual using the Service.

3. Data Collection and Processing

No account is required
Quick Workout - Home Workout does not require You to create an account or to sign in. We do not ask for Your name, e-mail address, phone number, age, weight or other body measurements.

Your workouts stay on Your Device
Everything You create and record in the App is stored in the App’s private storage on Your Device:

  • the routines You create or change (their names, exercises, work and rest times and number of rounds);
  • Your workout history: for each workout, the routine’s name, when it started and ended, whether You finished it and how many seconds You spent exercising. Your streak is calculated from this history on Your Device;
  • Your settings: sound and voice cues on or off, the “get ready” time, Your workout reminder (time and weekdays) and whether You have seen the introduction screens.

Appvestor does not have access to this content and does not upload it to any Appvestor server. The App does not read or write data in Google Health Connect, Apple Health or any other health platform, and it does not use Your Device’s motion or heart-rate sensors.

On Android, the App does not take part in Android backup, so this data is not copied to Your Google account and is removed when You uninstall the App. On iPhone, the App’s data may be included in backups of Your iPhone that You have switched on (iCloud Backup or a backup to a computer), which Apple provides under its own privacy policy.

Usage statistics (Appvestor Stats SDK)
The App contains Appvestor’s own statistics component (the Appvestor Stats SDK), which sends information about the App installation to Appvestor’s servers (operated under Appvestor’s Calldorado brand, at calldorado.com). Appvestor uses it to count installs and active users, to see how often and how long the App is used and how many users keep using it, to see which App versions and devices are in use, and to measure which of Our marketing campaigns lead to installs. The information consists of:

  • Identifiers: a random identifier that the SDK creates for the App installation, an identifier assigned by Our server and, on Android, Your device’s advertising ID (see below);
  • How You came to install the App: on Android, the Google Play install referrer; on iPhone, the attribution token from Apple’s AdServices framework, which can be used to learn from Apple whether the App was installed through an Apple Search Ads campaign;
  • Device and App information: the device model and manufacturer, the operating system version, the App’s identifier and version, and the version of the SDK;
  • Country information: on Android, the mobile country code and network code of Your mobile operator; on iPhone, the region set on Your Device and its time zone;
  • Usage events and their time: that the App was used on a given day and, on Android, also App sessions and their length, on which days after installation the App was used, and which of the App’s permissions You have granted (for example notifications);
  • IP address: Our servers necessarily receive the IP address from which the information is sent.

The information is encrypted before it is sent. It does not include Your routines, workout history, reminders or anything else You create in the App. Appvestor does not use it to show You advertisements, does not sell it, and does not share it with advertisers.

Advertising ID (Android)
On Android, the Appvestor Stats SDK reads Your device’s advertising ID, a resettable identifier provided by Google Play services, and sends it with the usage statistics to count installs and measure Our marketing campaigns. The App shows no advertisements and does not use the advertising ID to show You advertisements. You can reset or delete Your advertising ID at any time in Your Device’s settings (for example Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Security & privacy → Ads); after You delete it, Android provides only zeros instead of an identifier. On iPhone, the App does not access the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not track You across other companies’ apps or websites, so it does not show Apple’s tracking prompt.

Crash reports (Google Firebase Crashlytics)
If the App crashes or runs into a serious error, Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google, sends a crash report so that We can find and fix the problem. A crash report contains technical information about the error (the stack trace and related log lines), the device model, operating system version, App version, the device’s orientation, free memory and storage, whether the device is rooted or jailbroken, the time of the crash, and random identifiers generated for the App installation (Crashlytics installation UUID and Firebase installation ID). Crash reports do not contain Your name, e-mail address or workout content.

Workout cues and screen
During a workout the App plays beeps and, if voice cues are on, speaks the name of the next exercise and the countdown using the text-to-speech engine installed on Your Device (for example Speech Services by Google on Android, or Apple’s built-in voices on iPhone). Only these words from the App are handed to the text-to-speech engine. The App keeps the screen switched on while a workout is running. The App does not use Your microphone.

Notifications – workout reminders
If You switch on a workout reminder, the App asks for permission to show notifications. The reminders are scheduled on Your Device for the time and weekdays You choose, and are not sent from a server. We do not send marketing or push notifications. You can switch the reminder off in the App’s settings or withdraw the notification permission in Your Device’s system settings at any time.

Contacting Us
If You e-mail Us, We process Your e-mail address and the content of Your message to answer You.

4. Use of Your Data

Appvestor commits itself to the terms of the Google Play Developer Program Policies and the Apple App Store Review Guidelines and reserves the right to use anonymous data for statistics and user support without restrictions regarding applicability in time.

Appvestor may use Your Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain Our Service, including the workout player, Your routines, Your workout history and workout reminders.
  • To understand and improve the App: To count installs and active users, see how the App is used over time and which App versions and devices are in use (usage statistics).
  • To measure Our marketing: To learn which of Our marketing campaigns lead to installs of the App.
  • To keep the App stable: To detect, investigate and fix crashes and errors.
  • To manage Your requests: To answer Your questions and handle requests to exercise Your rights, including deletion of Your personal data.
  • To comply with legal obligations: To fulfill obligations under applicable law, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, and PIPA.

We may share Your Data in the following situations:

  • With Service Providers: Google receives crash reports as Our data processor for Firebase Crashlytics, as described in section 3. Service Providers receive only the technical data needed for their task.
  • With authorities: Where required by applicable law or valid court order, We may disclose Your data to public authorities.

We do not sell Your personal data, and We do not share Your personal data with advertising partners or for cross-context behavioural advertising.

5. Legal Basis for the Processing of Your Data

The legal basis for Our processing of Your personal data is the following articles in the GDPR:

  • Article 6(1)(b): Personal data may be processed if necessary to fulfill a contract. We rely on this to provide the App’s features to You and to answer Your requests.
  • Article 6(1)(f): Personal data may be processed if necessary to pursue a legitimate interest unless the interests of the data subject precede this. We rely on Our legitimate interest in understanding how many people use the App, in measuring Our marketing and in keeping the App free of errors for the usage statistics and crash reports described in section 3.
  • Article 6(1)(c): Personal data may be processed if this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
  • Article 6(1)(a): Personal data may be processed with express consent. Where We ask for Your consent, You can withdraw it at any time.

We do not process special categories of personal data (Article 9 GDPR), such as health data, on Our servers. Your workout history stays on Your Device.

Note: Because We process Your data partly on basis of Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests), You may in certain cases object to Our otherwise lawful processing of Your personal data, cf. Article 21 GDPR.

6. Retention of Your Data

  • Data on Your Device (routines, workout history, reminder and other settings) is kept until You delete it in the App, clear the App’s storage or uninstall the App.
  • Usage statistics linked to an App installation are kept for no longer than 24 months from the date of collection, after which they are anonymised or deleted.
  • Crash reports are kept by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days.
  • E-mail correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle Your request and any follow-up.

Appvestor may keep anonymised, aggregated statistics for analysis purposes for longer. Personal data is otherwise retained until the purpose of use is achieved or You choose to have it deleted, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law. We will delete Your personal data in accordance with applicable law.

7. Transfer of Your Data

Your Data may be transferred to — and maintained on — servers located outside of Your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of Your jurisdiction.

If Your data is transferred to a country outside the EU/EEA, and if the country in question has not been approved by the European Commission as providing adequate protection, Our data transfers will be based on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission.

Where data is transferred to the United States, We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as the applicable transfer mechanism in accordance with GDPR Chapter V, or on the recipient’s certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We conduct Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs) where required.

We work with the following Service Provider:

Service Provider Country Purpose Role Privacy Policy
Google Firebase Crashlytics (Google) USA / Ireland Crash reporting Data processor Privacy and Security in Firebase

Usage statistics from the Appvestor Stats SDK are received and processed by Appvestor itself and are not shared with advertisers.

8. Other Disclosure of Your Data

Law Enforcement

Under certain circumstances, Appvestor may be required to disclose Your Data in accordance with law or in response to valid requests from public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency). Appvestor will comply with all applicable data protection provisions, including section 5 of the Danish Act on Personal Data.

Opt-Out from Data Collection and Inquiries

Users have the right to ask Appvestor not to continue the processing of Personal Data. Users can exercise their rights to prevent processing by contacting Appvestor at privacy@appvestor.com, by switching off the workout reminder in the App’s settings or by withdrawing the App’s notification permission in Your Device’s system settings.

Quick Workout - Home Workout does not use user accounts. To delete Your routines and workout history, delete them in the App or uninstall the App – see section 19 below.

Security of Your Data

The security of Your Data is important to Us. We implement appropriate Technical and Organisational Measures (TOMs) in accordance with GDPR Article 32, including encryption of data in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. We have further ensured contractual-based instructions to Our Service Providers regarding necessary security measures. Your routines and workout history are kept in the App’s private storage, which other apps on Your Device cannot read.

9. SDK Data Collection and Consent Requirements

Quick Workout - Home Workout contains no advertising SDK. No SDK in the App is used to show advertisements, to build advertising profiles or to track You across other companies’ apps or websites. The only SDKs that send data from Your Device are:

  • Appvestor Stats SDK (Appvestor ApS) – usage statistics, including the advertising ID on Android, as described in section 3.
  • Firebase Crashlytics (Google) – crash reports, as described in section 3.

Both serve statistics, the measurement of Our marketing and the stability of the App only, and are based on Our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to this processing at any time by contacting privacy@appvestor.com.

If We add advertising, in-app purchases or any other SDK that requires Your consent under the Google Play Developer Program Policies or applicable data protection law (including GDPR and ePrivacy), We will update this Privacy Policy first, and the App will ask for Your consent before such an SDK collects any data. Such consent will be granular, can be withdrawn at any time, and will be documented in accordance with GDPR Article 7(1).

Appvestor accepts full responsibility as data controller for the data collection practices of all SDKs integrated into Our Applications.

10. App Permissions

In accordance with Google Play Developer Program Policies and GDPR, We disclose the Device permissions the App uses and why:

  • Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS on Android; notification permission on iPhone): Used only to show the workout reminders You have set up. The App asks for this permission when You switch on a reminder. No marketing notifications are sent.
  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED, WAKE_LOCK and FOREGROUND_SERVICE (Android): Used to restore Your scheduled reminders after the Device restarts, and to let the App’s scheduled background tasks, such as sending usage statistics, finish.
  • INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE (Android): Used to send the usage statistics and crash reports described in section 3.
  • AD_ID (Android): Used by the Appvestor Stats SDK to read Your device’s advertising ID for the usage statistics described in section 3. It is not used to show advertisements.
  • BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE (Android): Used to read the Google Play install referrer described in section 3.

The App does not request access to Your location, contacts, call log, photos, files, camera or microphone. The notification permission is optional: the App works without it, and only reminders are unavailable. You can withdraw it at any time in Your Device’s system settings.

11. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach, Appvestor will act in full accordance with GDPR Articles 33 and 34 and any other applicable data breach notification requirements.

Notification to the Supervisory Authority (Datatilsynet)

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, Appvestor will notify Datatilsynet without undue delay and, where feasible, no later than 72 hours after becoming aware of the breach, in accordance with GDPR Article 33.

The notification will include: a description of the nature of the breach; the DPO’s contact details; the likely consequences; and the measures taken or proposed to address the breach.

Notification to Affected Users

Where a personal data breach is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of the affected individuals, Appvestor will notify those individuals without undue delay, via one or more of the following methods:

  • In-app notice displayed prominently when the user next opens the Application, where technically possible
  • A notice on the App’s Google Play and App Store pages
  • Publication of a prominent notice on legal.appvestor.com

The notification to affected users will be in plain language and will include: a description of the breach; the DPO contact details (John Lisek, dpo@appvestor.com); the likely consequences; steps Appvestor is taking to address the breach; and recommended actions the user can take to protect themselves.

Internal Breach Response

All suspected or confirmed breaches must be reported immediately to the DPO (dpo@appvestor.com) who is responsible for assessing the breach, determining notification obligations, and coordinating the response.

12. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when We add new features to the App. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

Where changes are material — such as changes to the types of data collected, new third-party data sharing, changes to retention periods, or changes to user rights, We will provide prominent notice, which may include in-app notices or, where required by applicable law, renewed consent will be sought.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective from when they are posted on this page.
